No matter how much we wish (or maybe even pray) that they’d just wake up with the lightbulb turned on one day, we know that’s probably not going to happen. Which is why we have to lovingly educate them in the most honest, polite, and thought-provoking way.
HOW TO SUPPORT THE FEMALE ENTREPRENEUR

1 | RESPECT HER TIME
If you don’t like casual interruptions or unexpected drop-ins during your workday (i.e. people looking to just shoot the breeze), chances are your favorite female entrepreneur doesn’t like it either. Just because she works from home, doesn’t mean she’s available for that (or for lunch to last all afternoon). She has actual work to do!!
Bonus Tip: Don’t call her and leave a message asking her to call you back. Tell her right then what you need/want or what your question is. Don’t be the one that starts that annoying game of phone tag. If she calls you and leaves a message, don’t *not* listen to it and then call her back and leave a message that sounds like, “I saw that you called. Call me back!” Ain’t NOBODY got time for that!!! (Same goes for emails and text messages.)
2 | SAVE HER TIME
Time is the number one thing female entrepreneurs are always short on and stressing about—because there’s always more to do and not enough time to do it.
Offer to help package orders or run the kids to school. Ask if she needs anything dropped off at the post office or picked up from the grocery store (because you’re going right by there). Maybe drop off a casserole (or Chipotle burrito bowl) during a particularly busy time/deadline. Swinging by with a latte or bottle of wine isn’t out of the question either 
Saving her time (even if it’s just a few minutes) will be like handing her a million bucks.
3 | BUY HER SERVICE/PRODUCT
Don’t ask for or expect a freebie or even a discount. If she offers it, great!! She loves you and is feeling generous. But if she doesn’t, remember that no one asks you to do your job for free, so you shouldn’t ask her to either.
Honestly, she’s gritting her teeth every time this happens. Why? Girl’s gotta make a living, support her family, and EAT!!!
Bonus Tip: If you don’t need/can’t use her product or service, remember that referrals are the best compliment you can give her. Talk up her product or service with your circle of friends, co-workers, or business associates. She will LOVE you for it!!

4 | LISTEN TO HER
The life of a female entrepreneur (especially one whose business is mostly online) can be incredibly lonely. Sometimes she just needs somebody to listen to her. Take her out for coffee and allow her to talk about her frustrations, fears, successes, and ideas. Be there for her and support her.

5 | BE HER BIGGEST FAN
Don’t be her biggest critic. I have personally had, “When are you going to get a real job?” amongst other equally upsetting questions and comments thrown my way. (And I know I’m not the only one!)
Instead, learn about her business and become her biggest fan. Ask what you can do to help. I guarantee that showing your interest and support will go a long way.
Bonus Tip: If you’re on Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, or Instagram (who isn’t?), like her posts, leave comments, share them with your family and friends. To help a business grow, it’s not always who we know, but who others know.
